What we know about you — and why.

This policy explains what stilara collects when you join our email list, leave a review or place an order — and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers stilara.net and nothing else.

Who we are

stilara is a small, family-run silk sleepwear brand operated from Texas in the United States. For anything in this policy, including any request about your own information, write to jeffwalker@stilara.net.

What we collect, and why

• If you join the email list: your email address, the colour you told us you want most, and whether you are ready to buy or just keeping an eye out. We use it to tell you about restocks, new colours and early access.
• If you leave a review: your star rating, what you wrote, the first name you gave us, your email address, and whether you agreed we may publish it.
• If you place an order: your name, delivery address, email address and what you bought. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and go straight to Stripe — they never reach our site, and we never see or store them.

That is the whole list. There are no accounts, no logins, and nothing else is asked of you.

What we do not do

• We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
• We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
• We do not email you marketing unless you asked us to, and every email we send carries an unsubscribe link.

Who else sees it

Three companies process information on our behalf. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:

• Mailchimp — holds the email list and sends our emails.
• Netlify — hosts the website and stores review form submissions.
• Stripe — processes payments, and holds the card details we never see.

We do not share your details with anyone else, except where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

• Email list — until you unsubscribe, or until you ask us to remove you.
• Reviews — while your review is published on the site, or until you ask us to take it down.
• Order records — for as long as we are required to keep them for tax and accounting purposes.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it. To see what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted, email jeffwalker@stilara.net and we will act on it within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights over your personal information under local law. Tell us what you need and we will do our best to help.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. The version published here is the one that applies.
